With a simple, recurring problem: too many cars, too few parking spaces – and plenty of unused spots sitting empty most of the time. Friends, neighbors and guests were circling the same streets, while private parking spaces nearby stood idle. It didn’t make sense. And once we saw it, we couldn’t unsee it.

So we started talking. Sketching. Testing ideas. Asking questions. What if parking could work more like sharing?What if people could rent out a spot they’re not using – easily, safely, and on their own terms? 

That question became Parqey. 

From the very beginning, we knew this wasn’t something to rush. Building a platform that people trust with their space, their time and their money takes care, patience and real work. So we took our time. We listened. We iterated. We mapped out legal frameworks, user journeys, payments, location data and security – and challenged our own ideas again and again. 

Over time, Parqey took shape through countless conversations, late nights, prototypes and revisions. What started as a local solution grew into something bigger: a platform designed to make everyday life a little smoother, while creating value from something that already exists.
