1. Introduction‍ ‍

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Parqey  AB, a company registered in Sweden under company number [INSERT NUMBER] (“Parqey”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).‍ These Terms govern your access to and use of the Parqey website, application and related services (collectively, the “Service”).‍ Parqey provides a digital marketplace that enables users to list, find and book parking spaces.‍ Users offering parking spaces are referred to as “Hosts”. Users booking parking spaces are referred to as “Renters”. A user may act as a Host, a Renter, or both.‍ By accessing or using the Service, creating an account or making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms.

2. Eligibility and accounts‍ ‍

To use the Service, you must create an account.‍ You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to create an account and use the Service.‍ Businesses and legal entities may also use the Service through authorized representatives.‍ ‍

You are responsible for:‍

  • maintaining accurate account information‍

  • protecting your login credentials‍

  • all activity conducted through your account‍ ‍

You may not share your account or allow another person to use your account.

3. The role of Parqey

Parqey acts solely as a digital marketplace and intermediary platform.‍ Parqey does not own, control, manage, inspect or insure any parking spaces listed through the Service.‍ Any agreement regarding the rental or use of a parking space is entered into directly between the Host and the Renter.‍ Parqey is not a party to agreements between users and does not guarantee:‍

  • availability‍

  • legality‍

  • suitability‍

  • safety‍

  • accessibility‍

  • quality of parking spaces

4. Host responsibilities

4.1 Right to rent out a parking space

By creating a listing, you confirm that:

  • you own the parking space, or‍

  • you have permission from the owner or authorized party to rent it out‍

  • You are responsible for ensuring that your listing complies with all applicable laws, agreements, property rules and regulations.

4.2 Listings‍ ‍

Hosts are responsible for ensuring that all listings:

  • are accurate‍

  • are complete‍

  • are up to date‍

  • do not contain misleading information‍

  • only relate to parking services offered through Parqey

Parqey reserves the right to remove, disable or reject listings that violate these Terms or conflict with the purpose of the Service.

4.3 Availability and access

Hosts are responsible for ensuring that:‍

  • the parking space is clearly identifiable‍

  • the parking space is available during the booked period

  • access instructions are accurate

  • gates, locks, codes or entry systems function properly

4.4 Liability

Hosts acknowledge that parking spaces are provided and used at their own risk.‍ ‍

Parqey is not responsible for:‍

  • damage to vehicles or property‍

  • theft‍

  • vandalism‍

  • towing‍

  • parking fines

  • enforcement actions

  • disputes between users

5. Renter responsibilities

5.1 Proper use of parking spaces

Renters must:

  • provide accurate booking information

  • park only in the booked parking space

  • follow all instructions provided by the Host

  • comply with applicable laws and regulations

  • use the parking space only during the booked period

Renters may not:

  • use parking spaces unlawfully ‍

  • transfer bookings without authorization ‍

  • use the Service for illegal activities

5.2 Overstaying

If a Renter exceeds the booked parking period, the Host may refuse any extension request. Unauthorized overstaying may result in:

  • additional charges ‍

  • restricted access to the Service

  • towing

  • parking enforcement measures

  • account suspension

Parqey is not responsible for any costs, fines or disputes arising from overstaying.

5.3 Liability

Renters are responsible for:

  • their vehicle

  • how the parking space is used

  • any damage caused to the parking space or surrounding property

Parqey is not responsible for:

  • parking fines

  • towing fees

  • vehicle damage

  • property damage

  • disputes between users

6. Payments and payouts

Payments within the Service are processed through third-party payment providers such as Stripe. By using the Service, users agree to comply with the terms and conditions of the applicable payment provider. Renters agree to pay all fees displayed before confirming a booking, including:

  • parking fees

  • service fees

  • taxes

  • other applicable charges

Hosts will receive payouts after completed bookings in accordance with applicable payout schedules and verification requirements.

7. Cancellations and refunds

Renters may cancel bookings before the booking period begins. Refund eligibility may depend on how close to the booking start time the cancellation occurs.‍ Hosts may cancel bookings only when necessary and are expected to maintain accurate availability information.‍ If a Host cancels a confirmed booking, Parqey may issue a refund to the Renter.‍

Parqey reserves the right to determine refund eligibility in cases involving:

  • technical issues ‍

  • unavailable parking spaces

  • duplicate bookings

  • disputes between users

Repeated cancellations may result in restrictions or suspension of user accounts.

8. Taxes

Hosts are solely responsible for determining, reporting, collecting and remitting any applicable taxes related to income earned through the Service. Parqey does not provide tax advice and is not responsible for users’ tax obligations.

9. User-generated content

Users are responsible for all content uploaded to the Service, including images, videos and listing descriptions. By uploading content, you confirm that you own the content or have the necessary rights to use it.‍ You grant Parqey a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce and distribute such content in connection with operating and marketing the Service.

10. Prohibited use

Users may not:‍

  • create fake accounts

  • provide false information

  • interfere with the security or functionality of the Service

  • upload harmful software or malicious code

  • use the Service for spam or unauthorized marketing

  • attempt to bypass payments outside the platform

11. Availability of the Service

Parqey strives to keep the Service available at all times but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

The Service may occasionally be unavailable due to:

  • maintenance

  • updates

  • technical failures

  • circumstances beyond our control

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Parqey shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from:

  • use of the Service

  • inability to use the Service

  • user disputes

  • vehicle damage

  • parking enforcement actions

  • technical interruptions

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited under applicable consumer law.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

Parqey may suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • violate these Terms

  • misuse the Service

  • violate applicable laws

  • create risks for other users or the platform

14. Changes to the Terms

Parqey may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be published within the Service.‍ Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.‍ ‍

15. Governing law and disputes‍ ‍

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Sweden.‍ Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall primarily be resolved through the courts of Sweden, with Stockholm District Court as the court of first instance, unless otherwise required by mandatory applicable consumer protection laws.
